A Glasgow road is closed after a crash as drivers are told to "avoid the area".

Police have closed Ardencraig Road in Castlemilk after a two-vehicle crash that occurred around 5pm today (Thursday, October 16).

Road closures are in place between Castlemilk Drive and Hoddam Avenue, with more than half-a-kilometre of Ardencraig Road closed.

Members of the public have been asked to avoid the area as police continue their enquiries.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Emergency services are in attendance following a report of a two-vehicle crash in the Ardencraig Road area of Castlemilk, Glasgow.

"The incident was reported around 5pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
