All-clear given after bomb squad responds to home improvement store off I

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Police have given the all-clear after investigating a suspicious package near a home improvement store in DeKalb County on Thursday afternoon.

There was a heavy law enforcement presence, including a bomb squad, outside the Home Center Outlet at 4363 Northeast Expy, which is just off I-85 at Pleasantdale Road.

First Alert Chopper captured a bomb squad vehicle just outside the store.

DeKalb County police said they were responding to a report of a suspicious package. Officers examined the package and determined it did not pose a threat.
