An urgent appeal has been made to find a new home for a “special” dog who is struggling to cope in kennels.

Dame, a one-year-old cross breed is described as having a huge heart and a sweet personality.

But poor Dame isn’t dealing with life at the Scottish SPCA ’s shelter as she waits for her forever home.

A kind member of staff at the shelter has taken Dame home, and she is said to be doing much better in a home environment.

However, the setup is temporary and Dame needs a permanent place to live.

Dame has picked up training and basic commands very quickly, walks well on her lead and loves playtime, she will be a fantastic companion.

Her favourite things are playtime, walks, and cuddling up on the sofa.

Dame can live with children aged over 13 and gets on well with other dogs.
