CHAPEL HILL — Four Robeson County high school volleyball teams earned bids into the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state playoffs when brackets were released on Thursday. First-round matchups are set for Saturday.

Lumberton and Purnell Swett will both play in the 7A East Regional, and could end up facing each other. No. 22 Purnell Swett will travel to No. 11 Holly Springs for the first round, and the winner will face No. 6 Lumberton after the Pirates earned a first-round bye. The second-round matchup will be played on Tuesday.

In 5A, St. Pauls earned the No. 23 seed and will play at No. 10 Southeast Alamance. The winner will face No. 7 Orange.

Fairmont is the No. 23 seed in the 4A East Region and will travel to face No. 10 Ledford on Saturday. The winner will face No. 7
