SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A hearing is set to determine the fate of the teen who was convicted of the 2021 murder and molestation of a 6-year-old New Carlisle girl.

Anthony Hutchens was handed a 64-year suspended sentence in March of 2023 for murdering and molesting Grace Ross.

Hutchens was 14 at the time of the murder and 16 at the time of his sentencing.

He’s been earning the time served for his murder sentence at the juvenile detention facility. But now that he is 18, his case is being reevaluated.
