CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A daughter is seeking answers and change in Charleston County through a legal battle surrounding her father’s death, which she says was mishandled by emergency providers.
May 23, 2022, was a morning Jessica Williams and her family will never forget.
“I still couldn’t process it until this day; I still don’t understand why,” Williams said.
Born and raised in Charleston, Nathaniel Fraiser was a father, grandpa, veteran, and above all, a man deeply rooted in his community.
“He wasn’t just a man on the corner, you know, a nuisance to the community. He actually upheld that same community,” Williams said. “That same ground that he laid on, I’m pretty sure my father took a broom to that ground.”
