PHOENIX — Another round of the "No Kings" protests are expected to take place across Arizona on Oct. 18.

Back in June, several demonstrations protesting the policies of the Trump administration were seen across the Phoenix area. Now, another set of public protests are being planned at several sites throughout the Grand Canyon State.

These events are described as peaceful protests to denounce actions and policies critics perceive as an overreach of executive power from the White House.

"A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events," an event description states.
