“As everyone knows, volunteerism is dwindling,” Brigette Moore, CSAB vice-chairperson, told council.
“We propose having a volunteer co-ordinator to support volunteer not-for-profits, whether that be (with) grant writing or any other assistance.”
Chelsea Grande, community services director, told council that most of the board’s ideas in its 2026 strategic priorities report are “low to no cost.”
