Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive end James Vaughters took a look at Saskatchewan’s depth chart for Friday’s game and shook his head.

Not playing are quarterback Trevor Harris, star receiver KeeSean Johnson and running back A.J. Ouellette, to name just a few.

Vaughters would rather take on the Riders’ best.

“I was talking to some of my teammates. I dislike that situation,” he said on Thursday. “If we’re trying to feel as good as we can going into the playoffs, should we really feel great about ourselves beating a team that’s resting their starters?”
