A house in Ithaca that sold for $622,500 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Tompkins County in the past week.

During the past week, a total of 26 residential real estate sales were registered in the county, with an average price of $365,155, or $212 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Oct. 4 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $375K, detached house at 462 Shaffer Road

A single-family home at 462 Shaffer Road in Newfield, has been sold. The price was $375,000. The house was built in 1989 and has a living area of 1,680 square feet. The price per square foot was $223. The house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The deal was finalized on Sep. 12.
