A Massachusetts woman is facing animal cruelty charges after investigators seized more than 100 animals from her property in Plympton last month , according to the district attorney.

Jenifer Rogers, 42, faces 12 counts of animal cruelty. She is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 3.

According to local police, officers were first contacted about the conditions at the home on Lake Street in September. The homeowner had reported that they had concerns about animals being kept by their tenants. After seeing the conditions, police reached out to the MSPCA.
