PLYMPTON, Mass. —

A Massachusetts woman is facing several counts of animal cruelty after more than 100 animals were removed from her Plympton property last month.

Jenifer Rogers, 42, is charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty stemming from her alleged neglect of over 100 farm animals in her possession. She is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 3 for a summons arraignment.

Sky5 was over the 34 Lake St. property on Sept. 23 as law enforcement and personnel with the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals removed 116 animals.

The MSPCA said 99 of the animals seized were farm birds, including chickens, turkeys, geese, quails, ducks and one guinea hen. Two dogs, two cats, five rabbits, two ferrets and five goats were also seized.
