SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Department of Public Health said three new measles cases in the Upstate have been confirmed.
The new cases bring the state’s total to 19 this year. A total of 15 cases are part of a current outbreak.
SCDPH said all three cases were among close contacts of other known cases and the patients have been quarantining at home.
None were present in any school settings while contagious.
