BOSTON, Massachusetts — NordicTrack is recalling nearly 45,500 rowing machines in the U.S. and Canada after reports that the screen console can overheat and catch fire.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects NordicTrack Model NTRW19147 rowing machines sold between November 2018 and April 2022 at major retailers, including Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nebraska Furniture Mart, ABT and online at nordictrack.com and Amazon.

The affected machines come in black, gray, or white and have “NordicTrack” printed on the front legs and “RW900” on the back legs. Model numbers NTRW19147.0, NTRW19147.1, NTRW19147.2 and NTRW19147.3 are included in the recall, printed on a decal attached to the rower base.
