MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Many of us remember what seemed like a never-ending stretch of Saturdays with measurable rain this past spring.

Those wet days, along with many others in late winter and spring, led to more than 18 inches of rain between February and May.

Just under half of those days, there was measurable rainfall in Concord.

Then, once we got into June, a big pattern switch occurred. We dried out, and that pattern has continued into fall.

Drought conditions have worsened each week.

Only 10.61 inches of rain have fallen since June 1. That's 6.30 inches below average in Concord.
