WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Wichita Police Department identified 54-year-old Reginald Griffith, of Wichita, as the man who died after being shot Thursday afternoon on a City of Wichita bus near Douglas and Meridian.

Sedgwick County booking sheets identify the suspect in the case as 34-year-old Travis Finney. Records show that Finney was booked into jail for first-degree murder and criminal possession of a firearm.

Wichita police said that Griffith and Finney were two of seven passengers on the bus at the time of the shooting.

Into Friday, the investigation continued to determine Finney’s motive for shooting Griffith.
