BOTETOURT, Va. (WDBJ) - Another student in our hometowns is dealing with bullying but what’s happened since has shown how powerful a community can be when it comes together.

Oscar Seitz, an autistic student at James River High School, was bullied during a football game last Friday night. The students involved were eighth graders at Central Academy Middle School.

The next day, videos of the incident began circulating on social media. In the footage, Oscar was mocked for being autistic. He tried to leave the area, but other students blocked him while imitating him.

His father, Jeremy Seitz, made a social media post not to point fingers, but to show the community who Oscar really is ... a sweet, loving boy who didn’t deserve what happened. He said his goal was to raise awareness and help p
