CARBONDALE — A Jonesboro man was arrested for robbery after an incident Thursday evening.

At 6:33 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, Carbondale police officers responded to the 1300 block of East Main Street for a report of a robbery. Officers learned the victim was sleeping near a business when they had contact with the suspect. The suspect then battered the victim, stole the victim’s property, and then ran away.
