BATON ROUGE, La. —

Southern University in Baton Rouge has suspended the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity's Beta Sigma chapter following allegations of misconduct by some of its members.

The fraternity is now under a cease and desist order as university police investigate potential violations of the hazing policy and the Student code of conduct. Advertisement

Until the investigation is complete, members are prohibited from participating in Greek life or campus-oriented events.
