Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith will no longer go to trial over custody arrangements for their daughter , Juno , 5.

The couple were meant to start divorce trial on Wednesday (October 15), but it was removed from the calendar after the 39-year-old actress’ attorney filed on Tuesday (October 14).

The court documents obtained by People show that Jodie and the 47-year-old Doctor Odyssey star are working to figure out a custody deal outside of a courtroom.

They “are in the process of negotiating a custody judgment. The parties will return to the privately compensated temporary judge to resolve any impasses in the proposed custody judgment.”
