NEW YORK (WPIX) – Walmart has issued a recall for a product that the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission says poses a "risk of serious injury or death."

The recall, issued on Thursday, pertains to AOWOS 12-Drawer Dressers, which have been deemed unstable unless they are anchored to a wall.

The dressers measure around 39 by 12 inches and weigh around 42 pounds.

If they fall over, they can result in serious injuries or death to children, the recall states. The model numbers for the recalled dressers are: 12DRW01, 12DRW02, 12DRW11, 12DRW13, 12DRW19, 12DRW20, and 12DRW27.

The dressers were sold on Walmart's website between September 2023 and August 2025. The manufacturer is Shenzhen Shuanglong Home Furnishing Co., Ltd., of China.
