Carrollton overwhelms East Coweta with first-half barrage, 50-23

CARROLLTON — A dominant first half by Carrollton was too much for East Coweta to overcome Friday as the Trojans rolled to a 50-23 victory in region play.

Carrollton exploded for 35 points in the second quarter, turning what began as a competitive matchup into a rout before halftime. The Trojans led 15-6 after the first quarter and extended that margin to 50-13 by intermission.
