10-year-old runs miles to remember fallen Kansas officers

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Two Kansas law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty in just four months, and one 10-year-old from Chicago is making sure their sacrifices are not forgotten.

Liam runs with the nonprofit organization Running 4 Heroes, which tracks miles dedicated to fallen first responders across the country. The group recently reached mile 2,039 — representing more than 4 million steps taken to remember the men and women who have died while serving their communities.
