We are just a couple weeks away from postseason football coming to Kansas, but that leaves two weeks of games for teams to fight for playoff positioning. Week seven is now a wrap, as are some notable league titles.

That includes out of the WAC for one of the biggest matchups of the season, Great Bend meeting Hays. The two teams split two meetings last fall, Hays getting the last laugh in a playoff win. So this year's edition was an easy choice for the Blitz Game of the Week. This was a defensive battle early on. An Ian Premer rushing score provided the only points of the opening half for the Panthers to take a quick lead, and it proved to be one they wouldn't let up. Premer had a monster day scoring on both sides of the ball, and the Panthers poured in on after the break to win big 43-19.
