Temporary water discoloration reported in Attica

ATTICA — Users of the village’s water system may be experiencing temporarily discolored water.

The issue is largely due to seasonal changes and higher-than-normal temperatures in the village’s water source, officials said in a Facebook post. The conditions have released naturally occurring minerals, primarily iron and manganese.
