OWEN COUNTY, Ind. — A person is dead after a car crash in Owen County early Saturday morning.

According to an alert from INDOT, the crash happened around 1 a.m. Oct. 18 on US 231, near Hardware Road and CR 1250 North in Taylor Township.

All lanes of US 231 were closed for around two hours. The lanes are now open.

No further information on the circumstances of the crash has been shared by police.
