Aldi is recalling a dinnertime staple as it could be a health risk for some people. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said on Saturday that the supermarket had issued the notice as some of its steaks contained an ingredient that was not mentioned on the label.
The Ashfields 30 Day Matured Thin Cut Beef Steaks contains milk, but this is not clear on the packaging.
The FSA said: "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. This is due to a packaging error."
The specific packs affected weigh 360g and have a use-by date of October 26, 2025.
