SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Quiet and sunny and dry weather continues on the Suncoast, even with a cold front on the approach. Winds will hold out of the East on Saturday, keeping dew points low at near 60°. Winds turn to the South and Southwest on Sunday, which brings humidity up as dew points climb to 70°. But even with that increase in surface humidity, the atmosphere above us is dry, so our rain chances only go up to 10% to 20% for Sunday into Monday.

It’s another perfect day for the golf course or the tennis courts. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are must-have items today. The morning is cool, and the afternoon is seasonal in the 80s. Easterly winds on Saturday could produce wind gusts near 20 mph in the heat of the afternoon.
