Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has made a $568,774 payment to the City of Greater Sudbury for hosting Gateway Casinos Sudbury .

The payment covers OLG’s fourth quarter, from Jan. 1 to March 31.

During OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025), Sudbury has received more than $2.345 million. Since the gaming site opened in November 1999, Sudbury has received $52 million.

In a release, OLG said the payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario, using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
