Several local hunters were included among the estimated 200 hunters caught in the Big Horn Mountains last week by snowstorms which dumped 30 inches of snow on the level and piled up drifts that covered cars. The storm centered mostly on U.S. Highway 14 and to the north, according to reports. The last of the trapped hunters were reported to have been brought out of the mountain on Monday after the storm had snowed them in last Tuesday night, Oct. 21. One party of Gillette men caught in the mountains included H.P. Gregersen, Einar Lodahl, Bob Steinhoefel, Earl Eikenbary, William Vaught, Jack Cole, Delmar Marsh and Archie Lindsey. None suffered from the experience and they came out Saturday.
