A man has life-threatening injuries after a lawnmower accident in Suffield on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to Thompson Avenue around 1 p.m. for a report of a lawnmower accident.

According to police, a man was found on the ground with an overturned lawnmower on top of him.

The lawnmower was removed and emergency crews rendered medical aid to the man.

Investigators said his injuries are described as life-threatening.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
