OzHarvest and Woolworths have reached an extraordinary food rescue milestone .

Their ten year partnership has resulted in the equivalent of 100 million meals being donated to Australians in need.

There are more Aussies in need than ever before, according to OzHarvest founder Ronni Kahn AO.

"The truth is the need has never been greater ," she tells nine.com.au. "So we need as much produce as we can get.

"I mean, 100 million meals that we've rescued together from their produce is quite gorgeous.

"Basically, every day our vehicles go out to at least 500, 600 Woolworths stores. We rescue all the perfectly good, consumable, healthy, perfect food, but ugly produce, and we then deliver it to about 2,000 charities.
