An Aussie doctor made headlines for becoming a dad at 92 but he's not alone

When news broke this week that a 93-year-old Melbourne doctor was raising his 19-month-old son with his much younger wife, many headlines proclaimed he was 'Australia's oldest dad '.

Dr John Levin, who happens to be an expert in anti-ageing medicine, welcomed the little boy when he was 92 after his wife underwent IVF using donor sperm .

But Dr Levin is not the only man to become a dad later in life.

In fact, it is another Aussie dad who holds the Guinness World Record for oldest legal father, while a number of celebrities, including Robert de Niro and Mick Jagger , have also fathered children well into their golden years.
