FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - People in 21Country joined in on a nationwide day of action Saturday.

From 2 to 5 p.m., protestors gathered at the Allen County Courthouse for the second ‘No Kings’ protest of the year.

The nationwide movement centered on anti-authoritarian messaging first held demonstrations on June 14, coinciding with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday and the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary parade .

Organizers say Saturday’s protest built further on June’s demonstration, and the fight to ‘preserve democracy and stop unconstitutional actions by the Trump administration’.

“As President Trump continues to pretend he’s a dictator, we are standing up again to push back against his hateful, authoritarian actions,” said Jim Carpenter, an organizer and co-founder of Indivisib
