KINGSTON, N.Y. — The latest “No Kings” rally and march in the city saw thousands gather at Academy Green Park in the city to protest President Donald Trump’s actions.
The rally, part of a nationwide “day of action,” was just one of hundreds of protests in cities and towns nationwide. In Ulster County, rallies were also scheduled in Saugerties, Woodstock, and Gardiner. Another rally was also held in Rhinebeck.
This was the second large “No Kings” rally in Kingston and the third mass movement against the administration this year. The first “No Kings” rally in Kingston back in June drew a similar crowd, as did a “Hands Off” rally in April .
Kicking off at 2 p.m., the rally rapidly grew outside the bounds of the park, spilling over onto Albany Avenue, Clinton Avenue, and Maiden Lane. Fo
