PHOENIX — Two officers and a passenger were hospitalized after a rollover crash in downtown Phoenix, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department.

The crash happened at 7th Avenue and Grant Street just after noon. That area will be closed while the crash is investigated.

Officials with the Phoenix Police Department said the patrol vehicle was southbound on 7th Avenue when an SUV ran a red light and crashed into the officers. The driver of the second vehicle was treated for minor injuries on scene, police said.

Impairment is not believed to be a factor and it is not known if the alleged at-fault driver was speeding, police said.
