HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct - discharge of a firearm after one person was shot at a Halloween party Friday night, authorities said.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the Halloween party was taking place at the home of one of Raul Plascencia's relatives in the 9700 block of Wind Flower Lane. Authorities said the relative reached out to Plascencia about partygoers being disruptive and refusing to leave.

Plascencia allegedly told the partygoers to leave, but noticed one of the men had a gun, and another man grabbed an assault rifle, Gonzalez said.

A fight started, and a group of men began hitting Plascencia's relatives. During that fight, authorities said Plascencia fired up in the air, while the other unknown men fired toward the crow
