The Michigan Wolverines, now 5-2, got back on a winning track after a 24-7 win over the now 5-2 Washington Huskies. Michigan has momentum heading into a road tilt against its in-state rival, the Michigan State Spartans.

After Michigan’s win over Washington, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore gave his initial impressions about Michigan vs. Michigan State.

“Right now, in terms of the goals, we just need to focus on this next week. We can’t worry about what’s gonna happen, or what team’s gonna win, and what team’s gonna lose. We just gotta win each game, and it starts with this next one next week,” Moore said. “And that’s a big one. It’s a huge one. We all know the implications.”
