The Michigan Wolverines got back in the win column on Saturday with a key win over Washington at the Big House. Next up — the Michigan State Spartans.

This rivalry matchup has been in primetime the last three years, with the Wolverines winning all three of those games. The last time this one wasn’t in primetime was in 2021 when it was on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff.

And the trend of this game being played in primetime is continuing this year, as the Wolverines and Spartans will officially kickoff in primetime around 7:30 p.m. on NBC.

Led by second-year head coach Jonathan Smith, the Spartans are coming off a 38-13 loss at Indiana on Saturday. That was their fourth straight loss to open conference play in 2025.
