LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky Football hung with Texas for a full 60 minutes plus the overtime period but fell to the Longhorns 16-13 and remains winless in SEC play.

Cutter Boley went 31-39 for 258 yards and an interception. He also had 14 carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. Seth McGowan led the team in receiving with 7 receptions for 68 yards.

Kentucky had more total yards with 395 to Texas’ 197. The Wildcats outrushed the Longhorns 137 to 47. And kentucky tripled Texas in first downs 26-8.

Arch Manning went 12-27 for 132 yards.

The game started off promising for the Wildcats (2-4, 0-3 SEC), running a 10-play drive all the way down to the Texas 16 yard line. But on the 11th play, it was a turnover on downs after failing to get the first down on 4th and 1.
