Another Aussie company has been hit by a cybersecurity breach, with more than 1600 customers of telco Dodo and iPrimus being impacted by a data breach of the company's email and mobile services.

The hack, which occurred on Friday, was announced yesterday by Vocus, the parent company of Dodo and iPrimus.

"Our initial investigation has revealed unauthorised access to approximately 1600 Dodo email accounts, leading to unauthorised SIM swaps on 34 Dodo Mobile accounts," a spokesperson from Vocus told 9news.com.au.

"We have worked with impacted customers to reverse these SIM swaps and we continue to monitor this situation."

Email services were temporarily suspended by the company, the spokesperson said.
