BUHL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Nancy Moudy has built something most people only see for a few weeks at the end of the year.

She said Christmas is not just about the gifts, but also about a philosophy that should last all year.

“The Christmas village, Christmas itself, should not be limited to a time frame of one or two weeks. It should be a year-round feeling of being happy and charitable and just good to your fellow man,” Moudy said.

That’s exactly what Moudy has created — a village for the community that can be seen all year. She calls it Cowboy Christmas, and she says it means to remember what’s important in life, focusing on God, family and livelihood.
