Last week, Auburn coach Hugh Freeze said his team finds ways to lose games, and Saturday’s double overtime loss to Missouri proved that statement right.
After falling 23-17 to Missouri, Auburn football has now dropped four straight conference games and sits at a 3-4 overall record.
Freeze admitted to the low point his locker room is feeling as quarterback Jackson Arnold was not present alongside him for the first time in the post-game press conference.
“Yeah, our spirits are not up right now. And that’ll be a job next week for myself and our staff and the leadership of the team to rally around each other to finish,” Freeze said postgame. “And go try to win the rest of these games against obviously good teams left in the schedule also."
