Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC continues to roll under acting head coach Rob Vincent.
The Hounds picked up a 3-0 road win over Monterey Bay FC on Saturday at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, Calif.
Sean Suber picked up the opener for the Hounds in the 27th minute.
After halftime and plenty of substitutions, the Riverhounds got back to work and in the 73rd minute, Augi Williams doubled the team’s lead.
The Hounds put the game away in the 86th minute with a tally from Jackson Walti, his first of the year.
In the final road match of the year, the Hounds ensured they still have a chance at a home playoff match.
They can clinch that home-field advantage with a win in the regular season finale against Phoenix Rising FC at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 at Highmark Stadium.
