People who are pregnant have been issued an urgent message by the UK Health Security Agency. The UKHSA is urging people to think about five steps before your baby is born, which can help protect their life, and yours.

In a post on X, the organisation said: "If you’re pregnant, you’re eligible for flu, RSV and whooping cough vaccines. Speak to your midwife, GP practice or pharmacist about vaccinations."

Directing people to the vaccinations in pregnancy page through the official NHS website , the health service notes that these vaccinations are "recommended during pregnancy to protect the health of you and your baby."
