Schenectady could lose $13M in funding over court dispute

SCHENECTADY — Schenectady is in danger of losing $13.3 million in a dispute with the state which says the city's court facilities are "woefully inadequate."

The back-and-forth between the city and state Office of Court Administration has taken place over the last two decades, with the issue coming to a head after a July 25 mediation ended at an impasse.
