FIREARM POSSESSION

On Oct. 6, Circuit Judge Greg Steward found probably cause to suspect JACOB PAUL MARTINEZ , 36, of four counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and bound him over to District Court. On Sept. 28, troopers responded to a complaint of a Ford F-150 speeding on Highway 59. The caller said the truck was traveling “about 100 mph” near mile marker 67 heading north toward Wright, and a woman was halfway out the window screaming. A few minutes later, the caller called 911 again, saying the truck had pulled off to the side of the road. The woman was crying next to the truck, and a Hispanic man in a tank top and gray sweatpants, ran away from the scene and headed north.
