Kaye Adams has been pulled from her BBC Radio Scotland programme following an internal bullying complaint.
The Loose Women star, 62, who has worked as a journalist for 40 years, has not permanently left the BBC but has been taken off air, the corporation reports.
The BBC Scotland press office told Metro: ‘We would not comment on individuals. If any complaints or concerns are raised we have robust internal processes in place to manage these.’
One ‘senior BBC source’ told The Mail on Sunday the TV star is not expected to host her morning radio show for a fortnight while internal investigations are ongoing, and it’s said accusations of Adams ‘shouting and screaming’ came from junior colleagues.
A spokesperson told the publication that ‘no complaints had been presented to her by the BBC’.
