NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Homicide detectives are looking for suspects after a teenager was killed during a shooting at an apartment complex in Bellevue on Saturday night.
The Metro Nashville Police Department sent a large response to the Forest Park Apartments around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the MNPD, witnesses said that two females began fighting at the Forest Park Apartments complex off Highway 70 South.
Following the fight, gunshots rang out between two parties, who then fled the area. The report states that the gunfire struck 17-year-old Ja’Quan Nolan, who was visiting friends at the same complex.
Nolan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to MNPD.
