LAND O'LAKES, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating the homicide of a juvenile male, they said on Sunday.

Police said the suspect, the boy's mother, is the one who reported the death at around 9:50 a.m.

Few details were provided, but officers responded to the incident on Drexel Road in Land O'Lakes, PCSO said.

No information was released on the child's age, cause of death or a potential motive.
